“ The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Once you ascend to the bar, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the city. The addition of live jazz playing throughout the night was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I came here solely for drinks, so my rating is based solely on this aspect. ”
“ I love this little cocktail lounge at the Pfister, a great place to mingle with friends, enjoy milwaukee views, and grab a drink. We stopped by for a drink and a snack during our afternoon downtown, a dirty martini and old fashioned, no complaints. We also ordered the Parmesan chips, pretty good, but a little pricey. When we got there, it wasn’t too busy and we got a prime spot near a window to enjoy some great views on the east side. I have been coming here once in awhile, but as of lately the furniture is getting a little worn, specifically the couches, and may need updating soon. Otherwise lots of seating. Our waitress we attentive but not too frequent, which I enjoyed, it gave us a chance to talk. When we were finishing up a band was setting up for some live music for the night, wish we could’ve stayed! We will be back in the future! ”
“ We Really enjoyed afternoon tea at Blu in the Pfister hotel. They serve Rishi teas, which are local and delicious . We had the vanilla and the cinnamon plum. The food was delicious too, especially the pancetta. The view is amazing. Make sure to explore the rest of the building for some nice artwork and architecture. The ceiling in the lobby is beautiful. I use a power wheelchair and was able to get in and around easily. There are two women's bathrooms here, one marked women's and one marked ladies. The one marked ladies does not have a handicap stall. The one marked women's is very accessible (see picture). ”
“ One of the top (pun intended) bars I've been to for the ambience and drinks. When I was there, I enjoyed expertly-made drinks on cozy furniture, while looking onward at the skyline and listening to easy-going jazz. It felt like I was in a movie while I was here, having deep conversations in such an intimate setting. I went here a few times during my stay in Milwaukee, and would go more if I come back. ”
“ Located at the top of the Pfister Hotel, Blu is a great place to relax, have a drink, and listen to some live music after a long day. In the cozy seating area, you can enjoy some good food, great service, and experience an atmosphere that is on top of the world with its overarching views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. Bonus: If you park in the Pfister's parking garage when visiting Blu, they can stamp your parking ticket and save you a few bucks! Enjoy. ”
“ Great spot to have cocktails with friends & co-workers! The views are wonderful on a clear day. It’s worth checking out... yes the drinks are priced based on the location & panoramic views. ”
“ LOVE BLU! It's a bit more upscale than most places I go for drinks but the view is AMAZING, the staff is wonderful, the seating and atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable! Totally worth going for a glass of wine with friends or someone special. The bar is absolutely beautiful! If you haven't been there, put it on your list!!! ”
“ I just came in for a martini. Perfectly made. Lovely view. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you are visiting town you need to make it here for a drink and the amazing view from the top of the Pfister Hotel. Cash isn't accepted, and there is no official dress code. ”
